An Ore is a natural resource in Survival 303.

Overview[]

Ore is a raw form of any given mineral like coal or gold that needs to be mined before it can be used in crafting. All known ores are gold, iron, coal, mithril, sulphur and chromite.

Iron Ore[]

This ore is found on Mainland, Rockma Island, Magma Island, Spire Island, Plateau Island, and Flax Island. The veins on Mainland, Plateau, and a couple veins on Spire require a light source to be accessed. It is a light brown in color, looks exactly like wet clay and when refined, turns to a glossy dark grey. Iron is the most abundant ore, and is a staple in advancing the Smithing skill as it is an ingredient in Steel tools and items.

Coal[]

Although not an ore, Coal  is found on Canyon IslandRockma Island, Spring Island, Spire Island, Magma Island , Plateau Island, and Paradise Island on the old map. On the new map it is found on Jungle Island, The Volcano, SnowpeakRockshard Isle, and Stonewall Island.  It does not need to be refined to be able to use in crafting recipes, and is a major part of the chemistry skill, as well as Smithing.

Gold Ore[]

Found on Spire Island, Mainland, Spring Island, Rockma Island, Desert Island, and Goldrock Island, gold is one of the more common ores but is not used in a lot of critical recipes. The veins on Mainland, Spring, and Desert require a light source. Important in making mithril tools.

Sulphur[]

Like coal in that is not a metallic ore, sulphur is found on Paradise Island, Canyon Island, and Magma Island. It is one of the uncommon veins as it is only found in four places. It can be differentiated from gold as sulphur is a brighter yellow than gold is. The veins on Paradise and some on Spire require a light source. Sulphur is a major part of the chemistry skill.

Chromite Ore[]

Important Note: Posting exact locations to chromite will result in a ban
Found in only three places, chromite is one of the rare ores in Survival 303. It is found on Spring Island, Mainland, and Goldrock Island. The veins on Mainland and Spring require a light source to access. When refined, chromite turns a glossy light blue, while the ore variant is a light grey.

Mithril Ore[]

Important Note: Posting exact locations to mithril will result in a ban

Like chromite, mithril is only found in three places. Found on Spire Island, Mainland, and Desert Island, all of them are difficult to access and all require a light source. The ore is a dark purple, while the refined ore is a light glossy purple. Mithril is the ore alternative to bluesteel, though bluesteel surpasses mithril in damage output. However, mithril is lighter than bluesteel, balancing them out to some degree.
