Sorry, but it still occurs to me that the animals in 303 are just BORING. Seriously, haven't you ever gone on an agriculture run and spent AGES tending to the henhouse?
So, I am proposing what is basically a rehash of my idea for "chickens and eggs".
The concept is simple: instead of being restrained to their base locations, all animals in 303 instead roam around, avoiding the sea. While roaming, they search for certain items considered "food". For instance, chickens will run around mainland in search for corn. Once they acquire a substantial amount of it, they will be considered fed.
Fed animals will stop in place, and then produce another.
Now, here is the problem addressed in the previous thread: "If they can reproduce on their own, the entire server will be full of animals!"
But here's the catch: Each animal can only reproduce once. Also, the offspring will have a timer attached to them, a childhood if you will. They will only search for food once it runs out. The other factor keeping the population in check is that every animal, no matter how originating, has a quite long timer attached to them. I'll explain this a little better to coders, even if I do have horrendous knowledge of LUA.
Game.Workspace.Teraphyx: Create ()
Wait (300-600 seconds depending on animal)
Game.Workspace.Teraphyx: Humanoid.Health = 0
The childhood will be, ideally, around half the life of the animal.
